The Hamilton Desk |

This computer credenza and hutch was commissioned by a local family.
Constructed of red oak solids and plywoods, the piece stands approximately 6' 6" tall. The desk features one file drawer capable of accommodating letter-sized documents. It also includes a compartment for the computer tower and a retracting keyboard shelf.
The hutch includes two cabinets with glass doors and interior spotlights. A glass shelf separated the cabinets into two 12" tall compartments.

Birch/Pine Entertainment Center |

This piece was constructed of birch plywoods over pine framings and completed with pine solids. Standing approximately 6' 4" tall, it was designed to accommodate most 36" standard televisions.
Completed in March 2005 as a gift, the piece was finished with the remnants of a very old can of golden oak stain.
The four doors at the bottom conceal two large shelves designed for holding a library of VHS tapes. The TV shelf is supported by three 2 x 4 house studs to ensure sturdiness.

Two-Tone Table |

Built as a Christmas gift in 2005, this table/bookshelf of clear pine and plywood is finished in two different stains. The natural figure of the wood is especially evident on the tabletop surface.

Church Lecturn |

Commissioned by Faith Baptist Church of Gordo in 2005, this podeum of clear pine and oak plywood is designed to serve as a songleader's lecturn. Shown in its unfinished state, the piece contains three shelves accessible from the rear.
The piece stands about four feet tall at the front edge, and the top surface is tilted at 15 degrees. The cross on the front inset is made of a square poplar dowel.
It was eventually finished with three coats of golden pecan stain before installation.

Storage Bench |

Built as a Father's Day gift, this handy piece was designed for a front porch. It was eventually completed with a lid (not shown) and painted white.
The insets on the front and sides are of pine beadboard. The rest is of solid pine boards, including several parts constructed of 2 x 4's.
The storage compartment was built to accommodate tools of various kinds, making this piece much more functional than a simple bench.
